He holds a B.A in Economics & Geography , PGDE in Education from Makerere University of Uganda. He has certified vast training from Uk in community related health care projects with attainment of National Vocational Qualifications of Level two and three of HDS training center. He has worked for 18 years on several community projects, business units, research projects like BTC for PNFP project under Ministry of Health and Teaching Education Programmes were he has made a contribution to empowering and changing people’s lives in communities through advocating for rights of vulnerable youths and women.
He pioneered several projects like the media project funded by UNDCP in 2002 , Youths Exchange programme funded by IOGT NTO Forum and was part of the Editorial team for the Sober Youth magazine that played a role of anti drug campaign awareness in schools.
Geoffrey Kalibbala is a Ugandan national with a degree in Information Science from Makerere University. Currently he works as an East African representative for an International Oil and Gas Insurance Consultancy firm with offices in the UK and Singapore.
He previously worked at MTN leading Telecom Company in Africa in management capacity for over 10 years.
Geoffrey works as our International Resource Mobiliser for community development projects .He has a passion for supporting vulnerable communities most especially the adolescents and youths. This he has done by reaching out to youth village teams in Kiira Town council by laying a platform to young people to participate in sports and promote their talents at the same time.
James is a Senior Programme Officer with Byidi , has a B.A Hons in Social Sciences from Makerere University and has a passion of working with communities.
He is a Social Scientist, Community Development Worker and Researcher Administrator with broad knowledge in community development work with nine (9) years’ experience in Project Administration, design, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, with strong people management skills (Team building).Strong background in financial management and planning skills.
Competency in HIV/AIDS research, prevention and support projects, at community/district, regional and national levels. HIV /AIDS Research Management, Programming including Palliative Care and Support.
He has 8 year experience in charity work ranging from carrying out health camps in remote places, adolescent skills training as well as working in communities to improve their health
He is a founding member for BYIDI and responsible for oversight of all its health proposals.He holds a Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery [MBChB] from Makerere University and
I have an up-to-date annual practicing license from the Uganda medical and dental practitioners association and is a masters of public health fellow
Christine is currently working with NIITA as an IT development officer a statutory authority overseeing ICT in the country . She has a passion of working with youths and empowering communities in the field of education and Internet communication technology. Christine has a passion of undertaking to reach out to rural communities to extend internet communication technologies training for the rural communities as a form of empowering the underprivileged populations to enhance access to information which is a positive complement in helping to empower the rural population to ease marketing of their produce and access knowledge to improve on their productivity which will improve their living standards
He currently works with Uganda Cares heading a project at Nagulu Hospital and has volunteered with several projects like watoto ministries , Bwera and he played a leading role in launching Byidi health outreach activities in our operation areas.
Namusoke played a leading role in mobilizing the parish for the launch of our first health activity in the Kasagga as she managed to influence the presence of 10 VHTS out of 14 vhts of seven local councils in the Parish.
Matrida is part of our volunteer team and is attaining skills that are beneficial to the organization as it builds capacity for community outreach. She has supported the team on outreach activities in the rural communities as she played a vital role on the Kasagga Health outreach activity held on 27th September in Kasagga Parish as a lead in handling administrative duties of registration and interpretation feedback to the local population.
He is a Finance and Accounting professional with experience in finance and accounting, strategy setting and implementation, financial planning and analysis, financial controllership, balance sheet management, technical and advisory services, taxation, audit and assurance, advisory, accounting and financial reporting. He has over 9 years of working experience, obtained while rising through the ranks from an Associate to a Manager at Ernst & Young Certified Public Accountants and currently at Citibank Uganda Limited. Peter has worked on projects in various sectors including financial services, oil and gas, manufacturing, hotel and entertainment industry, service industry, commerce and trade. Peter loves to work with communities as he has volunteered on several occasions with Watoto ministries. He is currently doubling as Byidi’s treasurer and is the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), running a finance function at Citibank Uganda Limited .
He is a founder member who possess a B.A Hons in Economics from Makerere University and has attained several certified trainings in the United Kingdom in the field of management and supervision of human resource personnel.
Eric is assigned the duty of mobilizing and sourcing funds for community work in the organization and is playing a leading role of networking with international agencies for development.
He has pioneered several social and business projects units for local communities in Uganda that are focused towards economic empowerment of communities through agriculture, animal husbandry and agro-processing. He volunteered to avail a center of animal breeding and agro-processing for Byidi to act as training center for agriculture vocational skills of marginalized youth in the areas of Giita in Wakiso and Mawale in Nakaseke district.
Sonia is a resource mobiliser for Byidi and she has a passion of woking with women groups and young people on self help projects were she has initiated training programmes of self help projects for homesteads to improve peoples livelihood.
